We all just need a getaway with our favorite people—our girlfriends.
Our mission at GAL camp is to build a community of women that support and accept each other while providing a space where they can be authentic and expressive all in the name of fun and relaxation!
GAL camp was created by a woman for women. It is designed to create an avenue for women of different races, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds to come together and share ideas and experiences while having a badass time!
In our world today, women are so busy that they barely have time for themselves. Either raising their families, or busy at their workplace, and in some cases, doing both! Women get so engaged in trying to make the world a better place and sometimes end up not having enough rest and personal time. Being carried away by the well-being of those around them, they often forget to show themselves enough love and care, and that is why this camp came to be. We all need a break and to let loose with our favorite other ladies!
At GAL, we have built our system on three core values which include:
Acceptance: To create a culture where women feel accepted for their full selves; the good and the bad.
Connection: To build an authentic community of women who experience real connection and friendship.
Expressive: To create a space where women can be expressive and creative without fear of judgment.
We understand that every woman shares some level of similarity in terms of pain and fear; hence we make no room for discrimination and segregation. We support the LGBTQIA community, and regardless of whether you are a cis, trans, or non-binary woman, you are welcome to our camp.
We offer a memorable and comfortable camping experience for women, as we make women feel at home, even when they are far from home. The camping tickets include standard lodging, five meals, and enough fun! Also, we offer yoga, craft classes, fun games, a talent show, and other educative yet interesting activities.
